Coastal note
Raised homes need good stairs
Lots of coastal homes sit up off the ground, so the stairs are long and take the full force of the weather. We use treated lumber rated for ground contact where it’s needed, solid stringers, and railings built to hold up, because a wobbly railing is a safety problem, not just an eyesore.

Common questions
My steps are soft or wobbly. Repair or replace?
If it’s one or two treads, we can usually replace just those. If the stringers (the boards the steps sit on) are rotted, it’s safer to rebuild the run. We’ll show you what we find.
Can new railings match my porch?
Yes. We can match the style of existing porch railings or build new ones that suit the house.
